Elvis Memories...

Elvis Presley died 40 years ago on August 16, 1977.
WABC DJ George Michael was a big fan of "The King".
George created a tribute to Elvis that combined personal stories, his music and
the story of his life.
He worked on it for a year to have it ready for the one year anniversary of
Elvis' death.
"Elvis Memories" aired on WABC as well as on other stations around the country
in 1978.
Rewound Radio will air the program in its entirety on Saturday's "Rewound Radio
DJ Hall of Fame" starting at Noon (E).
If you're a fan of Elvis Presley or George Michael, it's a show you won't want
to miss!
