All American of the Week:
     Bob Lewis - 12 Noon-3:00 PM Sunday

SPECIAL NOTES: The album cut this week is from "Something New."

WABC was actually playing many more Beatles songs than indicated
by this playlist; in an apparent effort to satisfy the Beatles
fans, and since there had been no new Beatles releases for some
time, WABC was playing album cuts from all of the Capitol and Vee
Jay album releases, as well as rotating some older Beatle hits in
and out of the playlist. (A foreshadowing of the "new gold" or
"recurrent" category in the 1970s?) Most of these have been left
off the survey, as they seem to fall more into a "gold" playlist,
albeit more heavily rotated.
