SPECIAL NOTES: This week, WABC began a new category, which didn't
appear on the in-store printed sheets, called "New Gold" (aka
"recurrents"). Up until now, with a handful of exceptions, there
was a six-month moratorium on airplay of a hit, once it had fallen
off the charts. Now, the songs on the New Gold list will not have
to wait that long to receive further airplay. The New Gold or
recurrent list will continue sporadically, until it becomes a
regular feature in the 1970s.

"Win tickets to the U.S.O. Benefit Show, starring Bob Hope and
Bing Crosby, at the new Madison Square Garden on Sunday, 11
February. 250 tickets will be given away by WABC! Keep
listening!"
