SPECIAL NOTES: The "Album Cuts" section was on a separate, in-
house playlist, titled "WABC MusicRadio Album Cut Survey," which
was not on the printed surveys distributed to the public. This
list was separate even from the in-house regular playlist.
Evidently the album cuts were dayparted, and the separate list was
used by the DJs working the appropriate shifts. The Fleetwood Mac
cut was listed as #1 on this list, further evidence that the
publicly distributed surveys often differed from the actual on-air
surveys and playlists.

Excerpted from an in-house memo dated 12 July 1977: "Effective
with this week's WABC Musicradio survey, WABC will utilize the ABC
Radio division's singles rating list for determining the average
national popularity of records to be considered for air play by
WABC Radio. This list will be used in place of previous national
research conducted by the WABC Music Director."

Unless otherwise noted, songs without a number assigned to them
(excluding LPs) are in an in-house category labeled "New Library."
